Selfies At Funerals

I don’t know how something like this affects other people, but this seems like a new level of sacrilege.  With risk of turning this into a Dante’s Inferno-esque “rate my sins” debate, I am wondering if this shares the same level of malevolence as kicking over tombstones or stealing money from a charity/posing as a patient with a terminal disease.  This, btw, is not a condemnation of Millenials as being the only ones capable of self-absorption.  I’ve worked in corporate realms where it has run rampant.

A symptom of the culture of self absorption that is shoved down our throats…

This same self-absorption has given us waves of people that think their “first world problems’ entitle them to use the acronym ‘FML.” For those of us who have lived through real tragedies and losses, it just seems so superficial.
